Caseyland was created by Casey Cichowicz, a twenty-three-year-old singer/songwriter from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and a Music Industry graduate of James Madison University in Virginia. Caseyland has recently joined forces with several musical groups to create the 1kx.org family, including the improvisational space-rock band Orange Cricket Project and the artificial country band Uphill Driver. Caseyland's mission is to bring contrary pop to the enlightened. Caseyland recordings are available for sale online through caseyland.com as well as Juno Beach. Caseyland currently is gigging in the Baltimore / DC metro area as part of 1kx.org.

But what is the music all about? Sex, mostly. It's the future of pop music: a mixture of the tragic and the ridiculous-and yet it's always realistic. Caseyland drags out snapshots of a brutal modern world. What are the songs about? They're about the people who sleep under that bridge to the Twenty-first Century. About those of us who don't like the wonder of poured concrete and powerful drugs now available in non-prescription strength. The people for whom spiritual fulfilment is as distant as the Sixties' culture of love… It's about the good people who are overlooked as a bored public flips through the channels of prime-time television turned hard-core pornography.
